To stop cheating, the contest only counts so many votes from any one Wi‑Fi network. At a show, the whole room is on the same venue Wi‑Fi, so some of those votes could get thrown out.
So before you vote at a show, turn off Wi‑Fi on your phone and use your cell data. Then your vote counts. At home, vote any way you like.
